Oztech was founded in 2001 with a focus on engineering high-quality retractable roofs, awnings, and pergola systems. Manufactured in Sydney using premium materials and strict quality-control standards, our products are designed to perform in tough Australian and New Zealand conditions.
Over the years, we’ve built a strong distribution network throughout New Zealand, partnering with trusted local businesses that deliver expert design, installation, and support. Our teams specialise in 3D modelling and customised outdoor solutions, making it easy for homeowners and businesses to visualise exactly how their new system will transform their space.
With more than 10 years of experience in New Zealand and 1,000+ retractable roof installations nationwide, Oztech has become a trusted name in durable, weather-ready outdoor living. What is our process?
1. Let’s Chat
Our Oztech retailer would come to you and discuss your ideas for the space. They will do a walk through and measure, discuss ideas, offer advice and answer any questions. We strive to offer the best installation service and advice with an easy to understand, no hassle process.
2. Design Phase
Our local retailer will take all the information gained from the consultation and provide a detailed quote for the project. We can then bring the project to life using a 3D design of space - this can be very valuable to visualise how the space will work and look with Oztech installed.
3. Installation
Once the project has been approved (by yourself, engineers and the councils), we place your order with our Australian factory and your bespoke Oztech build will be underway! Our trusted local team will then install your Oztech, working alongside local builders and electricians, making any last adjustments to ensure you are completely happy with the final outcome.
4. Ongoing Support
Oztech’s robust engineering and clever design means, hardly any maintenance is required over time. However, if you ever need anything, our local Oztech retailer will be able to assist you in any way.

Our Highbrook branch is the main hub for Oztech in New Zealand, operating as our primary distribution centre and support base. As part of W Wiggins, our parent company and one of New Zealand’s leading textile distributors, we benefit from a legacy of more than 160 years of industry expertise.

South Island Branch – Middleton, Christchurch
The Middleton location operates as the dedicated South Island distribution centre for Wiggins and Oztech. This satellite warehouse supports fast, reliable storage and delivery of Oztech systems to our South Island retailers, ensuring shorter lead times and smooth logistics for installations across the region.
